Terms & cancellation
These key terms apply to BE Telecoms broadband and VoIP services supplied by Brodie Enterprise Ltd. Your order confirmation will identify your chosen service and price.
Minimum term and annual increase
Broadband and VoIP services have a 24-month minimum term. The monthly charge for each service increases by £2 each year. Optional mesh devices cost the amount shown when ordered and are charged per device, per month.
Installation and moving home
We’ll validate service availability after ordering. If existing equipment is working, an engineer may not be required. Otherwise, we’ll send a calendar link to arrange installation. Moving home may require a new installation and incur a £30 charge, subject to service availability at the new address.
Cancelling during the minimum term
If you end the agreement during the minimum term, the remaining charges for the full minimum term become payable, except where your statutory rights apply or the minimum-speed exit right below is met.
Minimum-speed exit right
You may leave without charges for the remaining term if, for two consecutive months, your download speed does not achieve the contractual minimum of 220 Mbps when tested using a suitable device connected by Ethernet directly to port 1 of the supplied hub. You must report the issue and allow us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct faults. WiFi-only tests do not qualify.
Equipment and service
A Linksys WiFi 6 Fibre Hub is included with broadband. Service speeds can vary by network conditions, equipment and usage. Optional mesh units may be ordered once the broadband service is active.
VoIP
Unlimited VoIP is available separately on a 24-month term. You may select a free compatible wireless handset or a phone socket option. VoIP depends on mains power and a working broadband connection and should not be relied on as the only way to make emergency calls during an outage.
